Job summary

WEISS North America, Inc is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for a hands-on role in Willoughby, OH. You will support from build to customer integration, troubleshooting, and panel wiring, with travel up to 15%.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automated machinery controls, strong Rockwell or Siemens experience, and fluency with electrical standards. You will design panels, verify wiring, and configure motors and drives while ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or Mechatronics.
5+ years of controls experience on automated machinery or production equipment.
Strong troubleshooting ability in Rockwell or Siemens ecosystems.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary technical resource for controls, motion, and electrical issues.
Provide remote support to customer engineering teams during integration.
Diagnose faults across electrical, controls, drive, network, and instrumentation domains.
Perform root cause analysis and feed corrective action into design and docs.
Travel to customer sites up to 15% for startup and service.
