Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Designer in Wisconsin with about 10 years of OEM experience to own the design and delivery of industrial control systems. You will design and assemble electrical panels for packaging machinery, specify Allen-Bradley hardware, and work with PLCs to create integrated control systems, including field commissioning.

The role requires hands-on experience in an OEM or controls integrator setting, travel typically under 25%, and a background in electrical technology.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical technology or related field.
• Approximately 10 years of OEM experience preferred.
• Experience in packaging machinery and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble electrical control panels under 480V for packaging machinery.
• Specify and configure MCCs, VFDs, IO cards, power supplies, Ethernet switches.
• Design control systems using PLCs networked to Remote IO Panels.
• Design pneumatic systems and size components appropriately.
