Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years of control systems engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications.
• Project management experience on multi-million dollar projects.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Perform power and electrical control systems engineering for manufacturing projects.
• Prepare and review technical electrical specifications for equipment and processes.
• Support corporate electrical standards and specifications.
• Assist facilities with operational needs and safety initiatives.
• Provide project management across all project phases and multiple concurrent assignments.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements.
• Communicate project status and changes with management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and external resources including commissioning and training.
• Develop bid documentation and supplier lists; provide purchasing recommendations.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules and deliverables.
• Develop and review electrical standards.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers.
• 70–80%: Project electrical engineering and project management.
