Job summary

enVista is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, test, and hand off control systems for the Automation division. You will develop PLC and HMI programs and collaborate with panel builders to ensure on-time delivery. This is a hybrid role based in our Willowbrook office with up to 50% travel.

Requirements: BSEE or related field, 0–3 years experience, PLC/HMI experience (Allen Bradley/Siemens/Beckhoff). ACAD and Ignition knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• BSEE or related field required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• PLC and HMI experience (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Siemens).
• Ignition programming beneficial.
• ACAD experience for electrical design.
• Material handling environment and robotics familiarity.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and hand off control systems for automation projects.
• Develop PLC and HMI programs and coordinate with panel builders.
• On-site testing and commissioning of systems.
• Train operators and support projects post-completion.
• Generate final project documentation.
