Job summary

Guntner U.S. LLC. seeks an experienced electrical engineering leader to drive electrical and controls initiatives across product development and customer projects.

You will serve as the technical authority for NEC, UL standards, automation systems, and best practices while collaborating with global engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams. The role involves periodic international travel to manufacturing facilities and customer meetings, with a focus on delivering high-quality results,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• EIT/EI certification; PE preferred.
• Experience designing electrical systems compliant with NEC and UL508A.
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, automation, and Modbus/BACnet.
• Proven project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical system design, ensuring NEC/UL508A compliance.
• Lead electrical and controls projects from concept through implementation within schedule and budget.
• Own design, review, integration, and optimization of control systems (PLCs, HMIs, automation platforms).
• Act as SME for NEC compliance, UL certification, and electrical engineering best practices.
• Partner with customers, contractors, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
• Drive reliability, performance, safety, and continuous improvement through analysis.
• Provide mentorship and alignment between global and regional engineering teams.
