Job summary
The Hershey Company is seeking a Staff Electrical/Controls Engineer (Engineer V) to lead conceptual and detailed engineering design for high-complexity projects in a remote-capable role. You will drive electrical/controls solutions, implement digital manufacturing systems, and guide cross-functional teams to meet budget, schedule, and quality objectives.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in Food Processing, Confectionery or related industries.
- Electrical/Controls engineering, design and project management experience.
- Expert in PLC/PAC programming with motion control knowledge (Rockwell/Siemens).
- Experience with 480/120/24 VDC power systems and sanitary design practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual and detailed engineering design and cost estimation for capital projects.
- Oversee installation, checkout, and commissioning of electrical/controls systems.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives and IT/OT integration on the factory floor.
- Mentor peers on industry processes, standards, and codes.
