Job summary

We are expanding our Revere brand and seeking a Sr. Electrical/Control System Engineer to support complex automation projects from our Birmingham, Alabama site. The role involves designing, testing, and implementing control systems, including PLC and HMI development, panel design, and vendor coordination.

You will supervise project activities, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with Project Management, Sales, Drafting, and Production to ensure quality and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10–15 years of related work experience in the field.
• Professional Engineer License desired.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels and systems to meet project specifications and division design standards.
• Coordinate with panel production personnel in the fabrication of control panels.
• Develop procedures and plans for factory and field testing of control panels and systems.
• Develop PLC and HMI applications per project specifications and across multiple platforms using division/industry standards and best practices.
• Specialize in sophisticated solutions for process control systems.
• Manage multiple large projects following company procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
• Provide technical direction, training and mentoring of Engineering and Field Service personnel.
