Job summary

Revere Control Systems is seeking a Sr. Electrical/Control System Engineer to design, test, implement, and manage complex projects from Birmingham, AL. The role covers panel design, PLC/HMI programming, hardware selection, and coordination with vendors and customers.

You’ll mentor junior staff and ensure project success across scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical/controls engineering, strong project leadership, and hands-on field startup

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office suite.
PE license desired.
10–15 years related experience in electrical/controls engineering.

Responsibilities

Design electrical control panels and systems to meet project specs and design standards.
Coordinate with panel production personnel for fabrication.
Develop testing procedures for factory and field tests.
Develop PLC and HMI applications across multiple platforms.
Lead project teams and manage multiple large projects within schedule and budget.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and direction to team members.
Ensure compliance with functional specifications and customer requirements.
Provide technical support via phone, remote access, and onsite service.
