Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Electrical Construction Project Manager in Newtown, CT to lead a portfolio of complex electrical projects. You will provide on-site leadership, manage budgets, and drive project milestones across multiple lines of business.

Success requires 7+ years in electrical project management, a CT license, and proven ability to lead teams, negotiate with vendors, and manage scope, costs, and schedules to achieve objectives.

Qualifications

• Excellent experience in electrical construction industry.
• 7+ year experience preferred in a project management role.
• 5+ years of experience with full product lifecycle
• Maintains CT journeyman or master electrical license(s)
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
• Experience negotiating with vendors and subcontractors
• Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending budget changes

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex projects within multiple sectors and lines of business.
• Provide on-site leadership for project team and ensure milestones.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to align with strategic objectives.
• Report on project success criteria, metrics, and deployment activities.
• Oversee project costs and budgets by phase code for materials and labor.
• Identify scope creep and mitigate risk and exposure.
• Coordinate with superintendents to review labor hours and set completion targets.
• Procure resources to achieve project objectives on schedule.
• Provide status reporting on milestones, deliverables, risks and issues to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to project execution processes and code requirements.
• Lead, coach and mentor project/program teams; communicate at executive level.
• Deliver on-site leadership to meet goals and drive margin.
