Job summary

SpaceX in Starbase, TX seeks a Sr. Electrical Construction Project Engineer to design, build, and activate high- and low-voltage infrastructure powering Starship production, test, and launch operations.

You will oversee full lifecycle of electrical construction projects and act as project manager and site lead. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, utilities, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable power systems, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure approvals and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction or power systems.
PE License (electrical) preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle of electrical construction projects (HV substations, transformers, BESS, power distribution) with on-time and under-budget delivery.
Manage multi-discipline electrical construction projects in field and office; act as overall construction project manager and site lead.
Perform project controls including scheduling, cost tracking, and commissioning coordination.
Interact with electrical contractors, fabricators, OEMs, utilities, and internal customers.
Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field across high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
Coordinate with permitting bodies and environmental agencies for approvals.
Track project status through energization and turnover to operations.
