Job summary

Adams Electric Company in Charleston, SC seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager with proven healthcare construction experience to lead complex electrical installations. You will manage scope, schedule, safety and quality, coordinating with field crews, estimators and owners to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include pre-construction planning, BIM coordination, material logistics, subcontractor oversight and cost control across multi-project portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• Strong budget tracking, scheduling, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction: plan, establish budgets, subcontracts, and purchase orders for Adams scope.
• VDC/BIM oversight with project operations and BIM manager.
• Pre-fabrication planning and delivery coordination.
• Material management and jobsite logistics planning and execution.
• Scheduling and manpower projection across the project lifecycle.
• Subcontractor management and timely submittal processing.
• Safety planning and on-site adherence to company standards.
• QA/QC planning and adherence to project specifications and codes.
• Cost/change management including pricing, change orders, and monthly reporting.
• Externally, build relationships with owners, architects, engineers and vendors.
