Job summary

Hyundai Engineering America is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to lead electrical scope on major EPC projects in the United States. You will prepare and review quantity take-offs, estimate costs, and support procurement and permitting to ensure safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Telecom, Fire Alarm Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of ETF construction engineering experience.
• Experience with construction documentation, submittals, drawings, reports.
• Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee electrical engineering functions within construction projects.
• Review ETF drawings, specifications, and field revisions, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Identify deficiencies and issues affecting quality, safety, and schedule requiring corrective action.
• Coordinate inspections and permitting activities with AHJ, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Support project close-out activities, including final inspections and permit approvals.
• Verify compliance with NEC, project specifications, and quality standards.
