Job summary

Hyundai Engineering America seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to lead ETF inspections, review construction drawings, and monitor field installation quality per NEC and specs. You will coordinate permits and work with stakeholders to drive safe, compliant project execution.

The role requires 5+ years in ETF engineering, strong teamwork, and proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD. Weekend work may be required on schedules tied to project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Telecom, Fire Alarm Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of ETF engineering experience or similar roles.
• Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Support ETF construction project planning, coordination and execution for safe, timely completion.
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, subcontractor quotations, unit pricing, and related documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control inspections for electrical materials, equipment, and installations.
• Assist permitting activities and coordinate with regulatory authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, ETF standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain project records and support issue resolution; use MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
