Job summary

Hyundai Engineering America seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to lead inspections of electrical, telecom, and fire-alarm systems; review construction drawings; monitor field installation quality; and ensure all work complies with NEC requirements and project specifications. The role requires proactive coordination with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bilingual communication in Korean and English.
Experience with technical interpretation or international client communication.
Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Experience with construction documentation, submittals, drawings, and reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Manage construction activities and coordinate electrical project schedules.
Review design drawings and ensure quality control of materials and installation.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
Conduct quality inspections for electrical materials, equipment, and installations.
Support permitting activities and coordinate with regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, quality standards, and on-site safety rules.
Maintain project records and assist in resolving construction issues.
Utilize MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
