Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8 years of experience or Master’s with 6; PhD with 4+ years acceptable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
• Experience designing and analyzing spacecraft avionics hardware.
• Proven ability to perform worst‑case, PSA, FMEA, SI and timing analyses.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits with digital, mixed signal and some analog functionality for spacecraft applications.
• Select components with suitable radiation qualities.
• Interact with team members and software groups to determine interfaces and operating characteristics.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical oversight to junior engineers.
• Work with fabrication on board layout and build; define layout constraints and oversee PCB layout.
• Support breadboards, engineering models, and flight units through manufacturing.
• Perform detailed analyses to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Develop test plans and verify boards; mentor engineers in design practices.
