Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City (and Tinker AFB) is seeking a Sr. Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Level 4) to contribute to the design of avionics hardware for advanced platforms.

You will lead electrical design activities, develop lab harnesses, and coordinate integration efforts within a multidisciplinary team. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) and experience with design tools like Visio or AutoCAD, with a strong focus on first-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in STEM with required professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance, or eligibility for SAP clearance.
• Experience developing electrical designs with Visio/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Development of avionics and lab harness designs and schematics
• Coordination and liaison of electrical engineering designs through the procurement process
• Coordination and liaison of electrical design integration and assembly
• Lead and coordinate integration of hardware in a laboratory environment
• Development of documentation in support of designs and product lifecycle management
• Support troubleshooting and system verification in a lab setting
• Collaborate across levels in a dynamic work environment
