B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Detailer – Electrical to join our growing team in Florida.

The role focuses on producing accurate electrical BIM drawings, maintaining standards, and collaborating with project staff to ensure constructible, well-coordinated documents. Applicants should have 5+ years in commercial Electrical BIM/VDC, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, and a degree in design/drafting or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in commercial Electrical BIM/VDC.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam and related 3D detailing tools.
• Knowledge of Electrical BIM standards and detailing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design standards: follow Electrical BIM standards and contribute to improvements.
• Produce accurate production drawings and document formats.
• Create concise RFIs and field questions for discrepancies.
• Review shop drawings for constructibility and accuracy before field distribution.
• Coordinate changes with project staff and BIM/VDC manager.
• Produce record drawings from red-lined field markups.
