Job summary

Fisk Electric Co., a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a BIM Detailer – Electrical to join our Miami, FL team. You will develop accurate electrical and low-voltage drawings and support BIM designers and field installation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of electrical background, experience with Bluebeam, and the ability to read specs and NEC, with strong attention to detail. You will collaborate with engineers and other discipline designers to integrate designs and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years electrical background through apprenticeship or work experience.
• Experience with electrical systems, low-voltage systems, construction drawings, and field installation.
• Experience using Bluebeam or similar software to create accurate 2D drawings.
• Ability to read and apply project specifications, drawings, and NEC/code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control of drawings.
• Ability to collaborate with BIM designers, engineers and project teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise electrical and low-voltage drawings, including equipment, cable trays, conduits, receptacles, lighting, homerun boxes, circuiting, and switches.
• Create detailed 2D drawings using Bluebeam to support installation.
• Provide clear, buildable drawings and population drawings for BIM designers and project teams.
• Work closely with electrical BIM designers, engineers, and other discipline designers to integrate designs and avoid conflicts.
• Review project specifications, standards, and NEC.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure drawings are accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate with project teams to verify design intent and resolve discrepancies.
