Job summary

Fisk Electric Company, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a BIM Detailer – Electrical to join our Miami, FL team. The role focuses on developing accurate electrical and low-voltage drawings to support BIM designers, project teams, and field installation efforts.

You will create detailed 2D drawings using Bluebeam and collaborate with electrical BIM designers, engineers, and other disciplines to integrate designs and resolve conflicts in accordance with NEC and project specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of electrical background through apprenticeship or work experience as an inside apprentice or wireman.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control in drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate electrical and low-voltage drawings to support BIM designers and field installation.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings including equipment, cable trays, conduits, receptacles, lighting, and switches.
• Create population drawings and buildable layouts for BIM teams.
• Collaborate with BIM designers, engineers, and other disciplines to resolve conflicts and ensure design intent.
• Review project specs and NEC requirements to ensure compliance.
• Support constructability reviews and field coordination with project teams.
