Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineering Technician to support new product design through test development, data analysis, and benchmarking. You will design test fixtures, configure products for testing, log measurements, and troubleshoot circuit board assemblies focusing on chargers and live batteries.

You will assist in maintaining lab equipment and procedures, and serve as a resource for entry-level technicians while collaborating with Engineers on projects and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in engineering technology or HS diploma with 4+ years experience required.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical principles and test equipment.
• Familiarity with test concepts in product development.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel between lab locations on foot or by vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Test chargers and batteries using best practices for lithium-ion systems.
• Perform hands-on mechanical testing of batteries and tools.
• Collect data with various equipment and software programs.
• Execute tests per work instructions and procedures.
• Prepare reports of test results and recommendations for Engineers.
• Provide project updates to Engineers.
• Create and edit documents using MS Office.
• Manage lab space and consumables.
