Job summary
Andersen Corporation in Hudson, Wisconsin, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to direct electrical, automation, and controls engineering for Edge Andersen Equipment Solutions. You will guide PLC programming, motion control, CNC, robotics, and MES integration to improve production uptime and safety.
You will mentor engineers, manage projects and interfaces with operations, IT, and maintenance, while ensuring NEC and NFPA compliance. Travel up to 4–5 times per year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of industrial electrical engineering and automation experience.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership or project management.
- Strong PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration experience.
- Hands-on with motion control, servo drives, and CNC automation.
- Experience with robotics and MESIntegration.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of electrical and control systems.
- Develop and maintain PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot motion control, VFDs, and CNC equipment.
- Lead MES integration and data-driven manufacturing initiatives.
- Oversee capital projects, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
