Job summary
Andersen Corporation in Iowa seeks an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to lead the electrical and controls portions of equipment projects from concept through commissioning and production stabilization. You will develop safe, reliable solutions for PLC systems, industrial networking, operator interfaces, and equipment troubleshooting.
You will collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate equipment safely into production, write control specifications, support FAT/SAT
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Five+ years of relevant electrical, controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with PLC programming, electrical controls design, equipment troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical and controls portions of equipment projects.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, network architectures, and BOMs.
- Support FAT/SAT planning and execution and provide technical guidance.
