Andersen Corporation in Dubuque, IA, seeks an Electrical Engineer focused on controls for equipment projects from concept through commissioning. You will develop safe, reliable PLC-based solutions and work with internal teams, suppliers, technicians, and engineers to integrate equipment safely into production.

You will lead electrical scope, create schematics and BOMs, support FAT/SAT, perform risk assessments and safety validation, and mentor technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Five or more years in electrical, controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming, electrical controls design, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls portions of equipment projects.
• Develop and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, network architectures, and BOMs.
• Support FAT/SAT and validation test plans.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, and IT teams.
• Provide or coordinate estimates for controls and electrical work.
• Travel up to 10%.
