Job summary

Concentric Integration is seeking a Senior Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to lead electrical distribution design and automation projects for water/wastewater facilities. You will collaborate with consulting engineers, end users, and contractors to produce detailed electrical plans, diagrams, and control panel schematics.

The role requires 7+ years in electrical/controls design, strong communication, and the ability to travel roughly 10% to Houston area clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from ABET accredited program.
• 7+ years as an Electrical/Controls Design Engineer.
• Proficient in electrical distribution design and control systems.
• Ability to travel ~10% to Houston area clients.
• Excellent oral, written, and digital communication skills.
• AutoCAD experience; Visio a plus; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical power distribution and automation projects.
• Create electrical site and building plans, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with contractors, integrators, and project managers to meet design intent.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and project specifications for electrical and control systems.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to design engineers.
• Design electrical distribution systems and panel elevations.
• Coordinate automation, controls, and SCADA integration for water/wastewater processes.
