Concentric Integration is seeking a Senior Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to lead electrical power distribution and automation design for water/wastewater projects in Houston/Katy, TX. The role blends consulting engineering and integration design and involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in electrical/controls design, strong communication skills, and is willing to travel about 10% to Houston area clients.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 7+ years as an Electrical/Controls Design Engineer.
• Willingness to travel ~10% to Houston area clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for projects with consulting engineers and end users.
• Design electrical distribution systems, including one-line diagrams and panel schedules.
• Coordinate electrical design for automation and SCADA systems.
• Review and update design standards to comply with codes and best practices.
• Visit client sites to verify field conditions and propose practical design solutions.
