Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Senior Electrical and Automation Engineer for our automated manufacturing facility in the US. You will lead electrical/automation systems, drive digital transformation, and mentor teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical/automation, expertise with PLC/HMI controls, and strong project management. You will coordinate with IT and maintenance and contribute to continuous excellence initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in Electrical, Automation and Controls field engineering
Knowledge of MES, IIoT, OT and predictive technologies
Strong project management skills including planning and risk management
Experience leading complex projects and programs
Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V (3-phase)

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for electrical and automation systems (PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, sensors, HMI)
Lead incident investigations for downtime and quality deviations
Support Continuous Excellence and TPM initiatives
Develop and deliver training to build team competencies
Maintain site electrical safety program and regulatory compliance
Lead maintenance teams to support existing systems
Develop roadmaps for maintainability and upgrades
Coordinate system patching with IT and users
Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, FDA, NEC and Nestlé standards
