Job summary

Concentric Integration seeks a Senior Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to lead electrical distribution and automation projects for water/wastewater facilities. The role combines consulting engineering and integration design within multidisciplinary teams, driving design documents, diagrams, and specifications.

You will coordinate with contractors and project managers, mentor engineers, and travel about 10% to client sites in the Houston area to ensure design intent and regulatory

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Design Engineer.
Proficient in electrical power distribution design and automation.
Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for electrical distribution, automation, and SCADA interfaces for water/wastewater facilities.
Prepare electrical site/building plans, single-line diagrams, lighting plans, P&IDs, and panel schematics.
Review project specifications and submittals; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Collaborate with contractors, integrators, and project managers to meet design intent.
