Job summary

Concentric Integration is seeking an Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to lead electrical distribution design for water/wastewater facilities. You will produce one-line diagrams, panel layouts, P&IDs, and control panel schematics, while collaborating with project teams and clients.

The role covers consulting and integration design in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will report to the E&A Design Director and contribute to design standards, ensuring codes and best practices are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, ABET-accredited program.
• 4+ years’ experience in electrical design.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Effective oral, written, & digital communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for productive tasks and time management.
• Able to identify and solve problems promptly.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems, including one-line diagrams, plan drawings, panel schedules, and elevations.
• Prepare project specifications for electrical, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Develop P&IDs and detailed control panel wiring schematics and layouts.
• Design automation, controls, and SCADA systems for water/wastewater processes.
• Collaborate with E&A Design Director to update design standards and ensure compliance.
• Occasionally visit client sites to investigate field conditions for design documents.
