Job summary

Concentric Integration, a subsidiary of Baxter & Woodman, Inc., seeks an Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to advance water/wastewater electrical power distribution and control systems. You will work in consulting engineering and integration design roles, producing drawings, specifications, and control panel schematics.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) with 4+ years in electrical design, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in electrical design
• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical drawing standards

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems, including one-line diagrams, plan drawings, panel schedules, and equipment elevations
• Prepare project specifications for electrical, instrumentation, and process controls
• Create Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Develop detailed control panel wiring schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
• Design automation, controls, and SCADA systems for water/wastewater processes
• Collaborate with E&A Design Director to update design standards and ensure code compliance
• Occasionally visit client sites to verify field conditions and inform design documents
