Job summary

You will ensure safe, efficient, and timely work through effective management of personnel, equipment, and materials, with opportunities to rotate across Customer Operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 5+ years of experience in a distribution/construction operations trade and/or 5–10 years in supervision of direct reports.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with employees, contractors and community groups.
• Ability to attain a good working knowledge of union contracts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electric Operations related to construction, design, planning, and scheduling for transmission and distribution systems.
• Collaborate with contracted companies to achieve project results.
• Prioritize safety for employees, customers, and contractors during all work.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety meetings and trainings.
• Manage assignments to control overtime and costs while maintaining customer service.
• Motivate and engage staff to improve efficiency and safety performance.
• Evaluate performance and conduct annual reviews.
• Understand and apply union contracts and employee relations.
• Be prepared to rotate to other work areas to address workload and development.
