Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in related field; 3+ years leadership in utility design/construction possible in lieu of degree.
• Strong leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, and performance planning/feedback.
• Proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and staff; provide coaching, development, and performance management.
• Set annual development plans with team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage electric and gas design work to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with Area Management and customers to meet design needs and service expectations.
• Lead process and system improvements for design/construction processes.
• Oversee projects from ideation to completion.
