Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled Winder to rewind electromechanical equipment, document winding data, and ensure quality control. The role involves dismantling damaged units, inspecting windings, and preparing parts for rewinding with strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
• Ability to perform basic math and read/write simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Able to follow safety procedures and operate VPI and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable equipment.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document data related to electromagnetic characteristics and serviceability.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for damage.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and record results.
