Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled Winder to join our team in Billings. You will rewind AC and DC motors, dismantle damaged equipment, inspect windings, document data, and prepare parts for service. The role offers training and career development.

Candidates should have 5+ years in rewinding motors, basic math, and the ability to operate hoists and testing equipment while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years rewinding AC/DC electric motors and related assemblies.
• Experience with windings, armatures, and rotor poles.
• Basic math including fractions, and recording data accurately.
• Ability to read, write and follow simple to complex instructions.
• Capable of training, safety procedures and job-related instruction.
• Familiar with VPI and testing of windings per standards.
• Shows initiative and sound judgment for routine tasks.
• Operates electrical/mechanical equipment and hoists safely.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle/damage equipment; media blasting as needed.
• Inspect windings for damage and electrical faults.
• Document electromagnetic data and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts and inspect for hidden damage.
• Strip stator without core damage; inspect thoroughly.
• Test rewound equipment per EASA standards and record results.
