Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 8+ years in electric motors or rotating equipment design with advanced methods (FEA)
• Experience documenting drawings, BOMs, engineering records and supporting design changes
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including die casting, machining, stamping, plastics molding

Responsibilities

• Electric Motor Design & Analysis at expert level using FEA and closed-form solutions
• Advanced Technical Analysis in airflow, vibration, and sound level analysis
• Design Leadership with focus on manufacturing considerations, cost reduction, and testing/validation
• Cross-Functional Collaboration across teams; document findings and translate business needs into technical solutions
