Integrated Power Services in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Electric Motor Mechanic to repair industrial AC/DC motors, generators, gearboxes, and related equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires diagnosing, disassembling, rebuilding, and testing rotating equipment with attention to safety and quality.

You will measure, document data with precision using micrometers, dial indicators, vibration meters, multi-meters, and related tools; overtime and weekend

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Customer-focused with ability to troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Experience with industrial AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Proficient use of precision measurement tools and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose incoming units and prepare them for shipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Measure and record data using micrometers, dial indicators, and vibration meters.
• Use multimeters, megger, and Baker instruments to test windings and components.
• Participate in daily operations discussions and contribute to continuous improvement.
