Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Norman, OK is seeking a skilled Mechanic to repair industrial AC/DC motors, generators, gearboxes, and related equipment.

You will diagnose, disassemble, rebuild, and test units, recording data with precision and adhering to safety standards; 1–5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of AC/DC motor experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair rotating equipment including motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Comfort with electrical/mechanical testing and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment.
• Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating apparatus (motors, pumps, fans).
• Measure and record data using tables, dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters.
• Use multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments; measure winding resistance, RTD, heater resistances, and fits/clearances.
• Participate in daily operations discussions on customer products.
