Job summary

J&Y Law in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Elder Abuse and Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing plaintiff-side practice. You will manage litigation matters, develop strategy, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and guide cases toward resolutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant litigation experience, California Bar admission, and a genuine commitment to advocating for injured individuals and their families.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
• Elder Abuse litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Plaintiff-side experience preferred; defense attorneys are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Elder Abuse and Personal Injury litigation matters.
• Develop case strategy from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft complaints, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Prepare mediation, arbitration, and trial briefs.
• Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings and trials.
• Review medical records and other case evidence; work with experts.
• Negotiate settlements and maintain client communications.
• Meet deadlines and collaborate with team members; provide leadership when appropriate.
