Job summary

J&Y Law Firm, located in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our collaborative litigation team.

You will support the trial team from filing through trial, manage discovery, draft motions, and maintain deadlines, with opportunities for growth in our dynamic plaintiff-side practice.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Personal Injury law, including pre-litigation and litigation phases.
• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the trial team from filing of the complaint through trial.
• Draft, propound, and respond to extensive discovery.
• Prepare motions, oppositions, and replies.
• Draft pleadings, declarations, exhibit lists, and other litigation documents.
• Maintain accurate calendaring and deadline management.
• Notice depositions, hearings, and other court appearances.
• Coordinate CourtCall and appearance attorneys.
• Organize and prepare documents for filing.
• Draft professional correspondence.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
