Elastic is seeking a Senior Search Consulting Architect to lead enterprise Elasticsearch deployments, optimize performance, and pioneer AI-powered semantic search. You will design scalable architectures, guide client teams, and mentor delivery staff across distributed projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in senior roles, deep Elasticsearch knowledge, and hands-on experience with cloud-native tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solutions Architecture or senior engineering roles with Elasticsearch in production.
• Strong understanding of Elasticsearch internals and cluster state management.
• Experience with vector search, ML nodes, and NLP integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in cloud environments.
• Proven ability to guide customer teams and deliver architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into scalable Elasticsearch architectures.
• Lead deployment design, ILM policies, and cross-cluster replication.
• Operationalize semantic search using kNN, ELSER, and RAG pipelines.
• Optimize performance, JVM tuning, and indexing workflows.
• Mentor and collaborate with delivery teams and customer engineers.
• Capture field feedback to influence product and support.
