Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Sr EIT 1 (Structural) to support the Power and Industry Business Sector. This hybrid role out of Cranberry, PA, focuses on structural engineering and project management for diverse clients, including industrial, power, and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, preparing calculations and drawings, and delivering on schedule and budget. Travel up to 10% and mentorship of junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• FE exam passed and EIT/EI certification is required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in structural design, analysis, and project/task management.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis/design and create drawings per applicable codes (ACI, AISC).
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability of projects.
• Prepare reports, design narratives, meeting minutes, and project memorandums.
• Coordinate with engineering/drafting staff and mentors; conduct QA/QC reviews.
