GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Engineer 1 (Structural) to support our Power and Industry Business Sector in a hybrid role based out of Cranberry, PA.

You will serve as a structural engineer and project manager for diverse clients including industrial, power, government, health care, and education sectors. You will perform structural analysis/design, prepare drawings, manage budgets, track schedules, and lead small to mid-size projects while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis/design and prepare drawings per standards.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and profitability of projects.
• Coordinate with engineering/drafting staff and QA/QC reviews.
• Draft site reports, design narratives, and meeting minutes.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee staff on projects.
• Conduct field condition assessments and respond to RFIs.
