Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an EI&C Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment at power generation and utility facilities. The role supports safe, efficient plant operations through calibration, inspection, and installation tasks.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in electrical/instrumentation maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2–5 years electrical, instrumentation, or controls maintenance experience (power plant or industrial preferred).
• Progress toward Journeyman/Master Electrician License desirable; equivalent experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance including inspections and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot and service DCS, PLCs, and turbine controls.
• Support electrical systems up to 12kV (motors, transformers, switches, wiring, and communications).
• Maintain maintenance and calibration records per regulations.
• Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Work independently with minimal supervision following standard procedures.
