Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineer to design electrical/instrumentation for water technology projects. You will lead technical work, mentor junior engineers, and possibly lead a team on large, complex jobs.

Responsibilities include instrument selections, I/O lists, VFD/Starter choices, and commissioning support. The role requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in industrial control design, and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex low voltage industrial control systems per UL/CEC.
• Experience designing control panels for Class 1 Div 2 areas.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering documents (P&IDs, GA, design guidelines).
• Comment on complex contract and customer specifications.
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water facilities, with safety in mind.
• Design low voltage industrial control systems with panels, schematics, IO lists, and networks.
• Support bids and provide technical guidance to meet customer needs.
