Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior EI&C Engineer in Bellevue, WA to lead electrical/instrumentation design for water technologies. You will mentor junior engineers, potentially lead a team on large projects, and ensure compliance with UL/CEC standards while coordinating with production and client teams.

The role emphasizes instrument selection, panel design, drawings, and shipment to sites, with responsibilities spanning from design to commissioning and support of bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent; 10+ years in industrial control design.
• Experience with complex low voltage control systems per UL and CEC.
• Experience designing control panels for Class 1 Div 2 areas.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GA, specs).
• Interpret complex contract specifications and follow guidelines.
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water facilities; manage budget/schedule; report risks.
• Design LV control systems, including diagrams, I/O lists, panels, networks, loop diagrams.
• Support bids, provide technical guidance and lead solutions for customer requirements.
