Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior Training Specialist for Environment, Health, and Safety to lead EHS and Training programs for the Energy Services business unit. You will support power electronics manufacturing, R&D, field service, and product certification testing with hands‑on programs for operators, technicians, and engineers on the plant floor and occasionally on R&D sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent EHS training experience.
• Experience delivering EHS programs in manufacturing or similar.
• Knowledge of general industry safety regulations and risk assessment methods.
• Ability to create and deliver formal and practical EHS training.
• Experience with HACCP, ISO 45001 or similar standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with process and manufacturing engineering during production line design, ramp, and changes to eliminate hazards at the design stage (Design for EHS).
• Provide EHS support to R&D power electronics development team including safety reviews and hazard assessments.
• Support field service and maintenance teams with EHS guidance for on-site work.
• Maintain the EHS training matrix and LMS records tied to PACK Manager assembly, R&D power electronics, and field service roles.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections related to Energy Services processes and revise content as needed.
• Develop and deliver training including LOTO, Electrical Safety, forklift operations.
• Deliver 10-hour general industry safety training to new hires and production personnel; coordinate 30-hour training for supervisors and leads.
• Create work instructions and toolbox talks translating work requirements into training content.
