Job summary

Future Form Manufacturing in Sparks, NV seeks an EHS Technician II to lead day-to-day safety field work, including shop-floor inspections, training delivery, forklift evaluations, respirator fit testing, and incident investigations. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of safety-related experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry requirements (machine guarding, PPE, LOTO, powered industrial trucks, respiratory protection).
• Ability to deliver classroom training and forklift evaluations; ability to perform respirator fit testing.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct shop-floor inspections, trainings, and incident investigations; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Deliver forklift operator instruction and practical evaluations; document results and close gaps.
• Conduct respirator training and maintain related documentation.
• Support air monitoring, noise sampling, and industrial hygiene tasks as directed.
• Review safety plans and JHAs; verify permits and lockout/tagout procedures are completed.
• Maintain EHS data, track incident trends, and report findings to EHS leadership.
• Communicate inspection results and training status to shop leadership; coach team members on safe work practices.
