The role focuses on audits, training, incident investigations, and hazard management to foster a safe, compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of EH&S manufacturing experience, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• In-depth EH&S program design, training, auditing, and compliance.
• Proficient in assessing workplace hazards and implementing control strategies.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S initiatives at the Sparks facility, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update EH&S policies and procedures, including chemical safety and building safety.
• Ensure OSHA and local safety compliance; perform site audits and address discrepancies.
• Chair the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Safety Committee.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain permits and complete required reporting.
• Promote a safe work environment through hazard mitigation and training.
• Track EH&S metrics and trends to identify improvement areas.
• Deliver EH&S training programs including new hire orientation.
