Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), ergonomic assessments, compliance audits, inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective and preventive action programs through closure.
• Support injury prevention initiatives and help foster a strong safety culture focused on achieving zero injuries.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and annual review of the Facility Safety and Environmental Plan.
• Track, analyze, and communicate safety performance metrics using company reporting and database systems.
• Perform PSSR and MOC assessments.
• Maintain required EHS training records and compliance documentation.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor by identifying hazards and ensuring timely correction.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and new employee orientation.
• Support safety committees, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate contractor approval, onboarding, and oversight.
• Respond to workplace injuries, spills, and emergencies and support emergency drills.
• Coordinate with emergency response agencies.
• Support Tier II, SWPPP, SPCC, and other monthly environmental compliance activities.
• Maintain audit readiness and document retention.
• Manage safety vendors, supplies, and procurement activities.
• Lead and support EHS improvement projects.
