Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an EHS specialist to lead environmental, health and safety initiatives at our Greenwood, Indiana facility. You will create and maintain EHS guidelines, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.

The role requires strong collaboration with HR and operations to achieve a safe, compliant workplace. The candidate should have a science/engineering degree and at least five years in HSE roles, with preferred ASP/CSP and ISO knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Health, Safety and Environmental roles.
• Experience with safety training and program management beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document EHS guidelines for the facility.
• Lead risk assessments and audits; follow-up on corrective actions.
• Report EHS data in relevant systems and ensure data quality.
• Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies and local laws.
• Organize and lead the facility safety committee and meetings.
