Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to implement manufacturing health, safety, and environmental programs in its U.S. plant.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, training, audits, and continuous improvement to maintain a safe, compliant production environment. The ideal candidate will have EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, knowledge of ISO 14001 and OSHA/EPA regulations, and the ability to manage budgets and lead safety

Qualifications

• 5-10 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership/management experience is ideal.
• Experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier is helpful.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS requirements and foster a culture of safety.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and trainings.
• Track, report, and analyze safety and environmental metrics.
• Perform audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead hazard analyses and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee chemical and hazardous waste management.
• Manage Workers' Compensation program and budgets.
